Sanjay Sabnani is a serial entrepreneur and business strategist with a long-standing passion for the Internet and Technology industry and online network community building. Sabnani has been an active proponent of message boards since 2002, when he acquired General Mayhem (www.genmay.com), his first message board community.

Sabnani has occupied senior executive positions in several publicly held companies: as EVP Strategic Development at Hythiam, Inc. (HYTM), as Director of Business Development and Strategy at OSI Systems, Inc. (OSIS), and as President and Director at Venture Catalyst, Inc. (VCAT).

Sabnani achieved recognition as an expert at each company and its respective industry space, assisting in raising over $200 million in public equity financing for these companies. In addition, Sabnani has served as Chairman of the Board for two distinguished non-profits, Artwallah (arts festival) and TiE SoCAl (venture capital networking) and is also the founder of a California based charity EndDependence, which grants scholarships for addiction treatment.

Sanjay Sabnani is married with three daughters, all currently residing in Porter Ranch, California. Sabnani received his BA in English Literature from UCLA.

Gaurav Singh

Most recently, Singh served as Director of Financial Operations for MDSynergy, a privately held company in the health services industry. Prior to that he was part of the executive team that lead the growth and ultimately, the sale of Specialty Surgical Centers to Symbion, Inc.(NDAQ: SMBI) for more than $70 million.

Prior to obtaining his MBA from the Anderson School of Business at UCLA, Singh worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Ernst & Young and Hewlett Packard. During this time Singh created a positioning strategy for Hewlett Packard, consulting them in the fields of e-government, CRM and Biotechnology.

Richard Izzo

Rich has over 15 years of experience in various operations, finance, strategic planning and corporate development positions across multiple industries.  Most recently, Rich was VP of Operations for a publicly traded healthcare services company, and was primarily responsible for managing the delivery and operations of the company's product for health plan clients throughout the US.  Rich has also recently consulted for and provided financial expertise to technology clients.  Rich is a CPA, and started his career with Ernst & Young in assurance services, working in both the New York and San Francisco offices specializing on banking and technology clients.  Rich earned BS in Accounting from NYU and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Arizona.  He enjoys reading, lap swimming and spending time with his family.

Taher Scherzay

Vice President of Technology

Taher Scherzay has extensive experience as an entrepreneur, CTO, and systems architect. Prior to joining CrowdGather, Taher was co-founder and CTO of Elexity Systems, LLC where he created the DentalSenders.com patient communication system which was acquired by Futuredontics, Inc. (1-800-Dentist). Taher has held positions as a software architect at Microsoft where he was instrumental in developing the Live.com, Click-to-Call VOIP service. He has also held software development and management positions at Alcatel-Lucent, Clarent, and Spirent Communications. Taher has also developed and launched MLSListingsOnline.com and ClientMinder.net as CTO.

Aaron Beck

Vice President of Advertising

Aaron Beck is a leading expert in the digital marketing space and has enjoyed a long and successful career in online advertising. Beck occupied a key role at Move.com, one of the world's largest real estate portals, where he was responsible for increasing ad revenue for the company.

Following Move.com, Beck served as Director of Online Sales at branded entertainment studio Madison Road Entertainment where he helped launch the company's social platform If.Net. At Madison, Beck was responsible for leading the sales team, developing and implementing marketing strategies and organizing product offerings. Most recently, Beck served in advertising sales at Internet Brands, a leading online publishing network.
