Anybody else on a diet? I've been dieting for the past month. Lost about six pounds. Wish I could jumpstart it more. I work out. My downfall is that I never know what to eat. I think I need more fruit and veggies for cleansing. Has anyone tried the Del Monte's Chilled fruit? It's still sold in the produce area, but the refrigerated part and is in a jar. I'm not inclined to grab fruit most of the time, but figure this way I can just have a piece or two, and then be able to save the rest without it going bad. My fruit always ends up going bad in the produce drawer. I hate that; all the waste. If you use coupons, they have one: http://bit.ly/qYT4q

Are you buying the right fruits? I have noticed that if I get the fruits I love they don't go bad because I eat them as snacks, I love nectarines and strawberries. I have also heard that blueberries are good for losing belly fat.

go for fresh fruits. all these canned fruits that say "no chemical added" were nothing but a big bull. don't go more with avocado or coconut, they are high cholesterol fruits lol

I like pomegranate juice and lots of water
I've tried to diet loads and tbh it doesn't work for me. I'm not over weight just wana shift a few pounds like most people. IMO you should not cut things out that you enjoy, as everyone always says it's all about reasonable portion sizes and not over indulgence.
Pleanty of fruit and veg, 8 glasses of fresh water, etc we all know the the right foods for a balanced diet :)
It's best to just try and think healthy and happy. :D
As for fruit is it's going bad make a smoothie yummy, healthy and very filling.

I don't know what d right diet.
But balancing the diet and exercise is the key for weight loss, and good heath.

I put on about 7lbs over Christmas and New Year so have been trying to lost it lately, it is hard some days especially if chocolate and crisps etc are on display, I don't have a lot of will power lol!
I think snacking on fruit helps but apparently it's only meant to with some fruit as fruit like apples and bananas have a high sugar and calorie content?

its just a matter of control,just control the amount that
you're eating.
I'm not saying dont eat at all but eat half of what u usually eating and drink
a lot of water,8 glasses a day will do
do some exercise,running and walking for about 30 mins. will probably help.

I say every wkend that my diet is going to start on monday the following week i reckon i last till about mid afternoon lol.
Someone in the office will recommend a biscuit and i have nil willpower wat so ever and it all goes downhill after that.
I no this doesnt help, but i reckon you should just be happy the way you are hun

I went on a low carb diet about two months ago. I never realized how much carbs I was eating but once I cut down how much carbs I eat, I started losing weight right away. I probably lost about 2lbs a week and have lost about 15lbs so far. I'd like to lose about 10 more and then keep fit and healthy.

We all know the main things of diet is Eat less and exercise more.If you want to stay healthy and make weight loss permanent you just cant do without exercise. Enjoy your food by sitting down and eating slowly.

Diets seem usefull in most cases, but i think sports are more important if you want to lose weight. During my stay in the states i gained several pounds :mad:. Should have went to better studyadvisor :D maybe i would have gone to a country where the food is not always that rich if you know what i mean.;)

Diet is a most important par of health and fruit diet is best diet for health Dieting is decrease weight lose. Also green vegetables are best for increase the blood. It is one part of exercise.

About two months ago I went on a low carb diet. I realized how much I was eating carbs, but once I cut down so I never eat carbs, I just started losing weight. I probably lost about 2 £ a week and still lost about £ 15. I like to lose about 10 more and then fit and stay healthy.

Christmas and New Year I have been trying it recently lost about £ 7 to put on, it is hard for a few days, especially if chocolate and crisps etc are displayed, I will force A lot of nothing. I think that helps snacking on fruit, but apparently it is only with fruit means fruit such as apples and bananas have a high sugar and calorie content

People are not their diet to improve their health or losing their weight. eating fruits and vegetables that are currently available in physical activity such as walking and season, Yoga and medication are goods towards the weight losing, Never skip your regular exercise.

I think just go for fresh fruits. all these canned fruits that say "no chemical added" were nothing but a big bull. don't go more with avocado or coconut, they are high cholesterol fruits. fresh fruits are really best for the health.

One of my older friends was diagnosed with diabetes and went on this Glycemic Index diet and I tried it too. I lost almost 10 pounds in six months and never felt better. After loosing the weight I was feeling great, but found that my skin wasn't as firm as it had been so I tried a body wrap, what a difference! Once you loose the weight, you should treat yourself to something like this :)

Being on a diet needs lots of discipline, you have to exercise everyday and you must also have your control when it comes in eating foods. And when you say that you have to diet, give focus to it.

diet without binging on junk food every now and then. It will also take months for the effects of the diet to show, but it will change the way you feel and look in the long run adding years to your lifespan if you have been indulging in a lot of junk food so far.

I was staying with these girls I met on wimdu (http://www.wimdu.com)and she took me to this really kool gym that offered tai chi in a sauna. Part of the exercise included walking for 20 minutes before. I reckon all that traveling helped, but I felt so much better afterwards, think I lost an couple of kgs too. Wish I could find a class in Chicago!
