Do you and your family fan out across Wal-Mart in color-coordinated sweats, walkie talkies in hand, to find the best deals on the day after Thanksgiving? Is Black Friday - the opening of the holiday shopping season - an annual event at your house that requires scouring ads, planning ahead and coordination?

I'm in Chicago this weekend, hoping to hit the mile time permitting.

Sadly I have to admit I am not that into this whole black Friday thing. I did it once back when I was in college and did not like my experience. Not that I do not like shopping, I do, just not with thousands of people! It's a little too crazy for me. I like to take my time shopping and really think about things.

However, my Friday this year will be spent helping my friends move into their new apartment! Not exactly the most exciting day, but what can I say, I am a sucker for a friend in need!
