The sterling silver is the whitest metal known to mankind. In ancient period, women always used silver as the decorative jewelry because they thought the sterling silver was the purest metal available.

Sterling silver has a good extensibility, which is only lower than gold. It is also called the permanent bactericide because of its powerful ability to disinfect. We often watch scenes in movies that somebody takes a silver pin to examine whether the meal is poisoned or not. It is not limited up to movies, but it is a truth in real life, because the sterling silver indeed has the function of examining poison.

Did you know... that 100% pure silver is a very soft metal and if it were to be used to make jewellery it would be too soft and would easily bend and go out of shape?
