Hey Friends!
I just bought a house with my fiance! And umm well it needs help its 2400 sq feet, two story, four bed , 2.5 bath, 1/2 finished basement and big back yard. However it needs help, we bought it from the bank so its a little lacking in taste right now. THink blue shag carpet with orange walls. Does anybody have any decorating advice, sites, cool places to look?
It would be soooo appreciated!

Its all about personal style... but I love things to be based on whites and creams... to me less is more in a way... no hideous stripy wall paper... nice white and creams and mocas... soft furnishings and candles making the place warm.... cashmere, fur and mohair blankets, throws and cushions... and make sure you get one of those bedrooms or something made into a walk in wardrobe.... I like the classic french style but also not to naff... and although I like contemporary im not so much into minimalism either... classic comfort i like and have a sitting room without a tv in it... its vulgar... have a sep lounge!

Go to 'the great indoors'. I love that store. Such beautiful things to decorate the house.

I don't have a gift on decorating a house. My sister are the one decorating our house but i always love the white and cream color. It make your house looks cool and wider.
