Does online dating really work?

There are millions of members worldwide and thousands more singles are signing up on a daily basis. But does this show that dating online really works?

I met my girlfriend on okcupid.com last year. We spent much time online. We chatted for a while before exchanging our cell numbers. We chose restaurant to meet and we spent a lovely few hours chatting, shopping, etc... Now, we meet occasionally to know each other very well. Our relationship is going very well and internet helped me to find out her.

What about you guys? Have you ever tried it? Please share here if you have any interesting story.

I've tried it once but it doesn't work...and I don't want to try it again.

Its fake nothing happens, I mean I tried is before and meet someone who shows the fake profile in dating site. But when after i meet her i totally lose myself. That what is that ?:O Is she the same what i see on that profile ?

I don't think so.. and haven't tried it yet.. But lucky on your part that you and your partner succeeded on what they called online dating.. maybe I'll try to stumble upon on the site that you've mentioned above if ever my relationship with my beau fail..
