we were doing an assignment on computers for school today
and i didn't bother doing it coz it was annoying and i could do it easier at home.
so i was bored and decided to go to MichaelKors.com, coz hes my fave designer.
and i went in the shoes and i noticed how cheap the wedges are. comparing to the pumps or sandals...so this thought came to mind; chunky wedges are passé.
but are they really passé or is there another reason for them being cheap ?

I don't think they are passé, per se, but I think they come and go quite quickly. They've had several resurgences in my life and I am only in my early 20s.
I wonder if their cheapness in comparison to other shoes is due to how easy/expensive, relatively, they are to make? I think pumps always tend to be the most expensive, due to size and general architecture of the shoe, but it all also depends on materials used. A crocodile skin sandal is going to cost more than a leather pump.

I hope they're not passe because I have several and they are so comfy! You get the advantage of wearing heels but without so much pain!

Wearing wedges with a modern twist, they are pinstripe denim in purple, blue, black and white with twist flowers in the same material on them....they just needed an update but are not passe ;)

I think that everything in fashion really comes and goes and wedges are an example of this..
I am not too keen with high heels but wedges are really stylish and as you said comfortable..
