THis is going to sound really strange but i just bought a necklace from jcrew, it has a long gold chain and a turtle pendant. the turtle is orange with tourquoise on it and the head and feet are gold. It sounds really ugly but its kind of vintage.

I seen this broach the other day that was silver and mink! I didn't buy it but think I might go back at the weekend and see if they still have it... It would be good for pinning shawls or cardis...

I bought a pendant necklace from the store I work at. Its a long pendant burnt orange with a little bracket around it. its silver, pretty cute.

I am also a fan of these two jewlery lines jbandme.com carries. They are Dort, and J&I. I really like them because Dort is hand made by a local lady in holland mi and J&I are made by a husband and wife couple. All sterling silver, mother of pearl. Very classy stuff for a very good price. I have the dort ring, wrapped in gold wire with a few different shades of purple stone within them.

Last month I went to a cool rock and gem place. I found a red glass star. It sort of looks like a star fish. It is 1 inch wide all around. I am hanging it from black waxed cotton. The whole thing cost me $5 and it looks like a $100 piece of art hanging off my neck! No one believes me when they see it.
