Help with Uggs!

so this is my first post, i'm sooo happy I found this place!

here's the thing, my mom won't let me buy uggs, she thinks they're almost out and she's all about whats in and whats out. i think that they're here to stay, comfy, warm, usually pretty nice looking. i wanted to get some help though, some more opinions from other people.

i'd love it if you could put some of your opinions about uggs in general. things like if they're gonna be around for a while or not, if they're gonna get cheaper or more expensive, if people are wearing something new, something better and if their spring line is hot or not

I really can't believe your mother won't let you buy them because she doesn't feel their trendy enough!

I was wearing them since 5 years ago, although not for the past year as my dress style has changed and uggs don't really go anymore.

..but, I love them. They're so comfortable and look adorable, but not when they start sloping to one side, please, just get a new pair if they start doing that! I've seen girls literally still wearing them, where their foot is on the side of the shoe, rather than where their foot should be!

Which ones were you thinking of getting? I wouldn't bother getting the original Uggs and I think they're going to be in and out all the time, like everything else is.

.. In the end, does it really matter if it's 'in or out'? .. Set your own trends.

the best way to wear uggs is skinny jeans tucked in and a cashmere jumper, showing off a lil waist ;) i think
like i have this image in my head; pink uggs with a bit of blanchedalmond/beige fur, grey skinnys, and a pink cashmere jumper :D

I personally think that Uggs are comfy, but not very flattering. I suggest girls try to wear a warm boot with a wedge heel. They're still functional, but they much more flattering and stylish.

I think it depends on where you are. I live up north and we were wearing Uggs before they were trendy, and we're wearing them after it. They're practical up here.

Uggs for me is an eye sore but feels so comfy,,,, so it's just fine,,, btw i don't wear them cause i don't need to.... not necessary....

UGG is constantly reinventing itself and changing. Their slippers are extremely comfortable and fashionable and can be worn anywhere (I wear mine everywhere quite literally)! You should take a look at their website, maybe this will help with your mom's decision:

Hmmm, I didn't find UGG ugly. I love them and they are cute. if you have skinny Jeans they are really impressive and lovely.

I don't like them so much when they are worn as a complete fashion statement. Like in the fall or spring with a jean skirt. However, when there is two feet of snow on the ground and I have to shovel the snow off of my car, I am going to be wearing them.

I have like 5 different pairs, they are awesome up here in the snow!
