Do you guys still watch it?? I always tell myself "omg are they ever going to give this up?!" But then the singing captivates and i watch it anyway!

Paula Abdul is starting to scare me...more plastic surgery and alcohol or drugs apparently! I love her 80s stuff but wow, im kinda just watching it to look at her and be like "my gosh! hahaha"

AND, where do all these singers go? I can't even remember all the winners anymore. Runners up seem to make more money and have more hits. I know some have went to country and gospel...but i think they should have stopped at Kelly!!

Canadian Idol is the most pitiful. Cheap camera work, cheap sets...drives me nuts and i can definately say i've never watched a full episode of Canadian Idol.

What do you think about American Idol? What is your country's Idol like if you're not North American?

I only watch it because of Simon... he's cool and he's cruel and he know what he's doing, at least most of the time... But what's the point if the people don't get totally dissed by Simon? Do they have a Simon-like judge in Canada?

haha yeah they do but you know that's what they're trying to imitate so its just kind of annoying...and like i said i don't watch much because of the poor quality :P

Am i the only one who feels like sometimes im like "omg that wast that good at all" then the judges all gush about how good it was?! i hate that when that happens lol

I watch it sometimes but like you, I can't believe it's still as popular as it is. Most of these people can't sing but then the judges make stuff up about how they "made it their own" or whatever, especially Randy and Paula.

My fav was last week when one of the girls sang "love is a battlefield" but made it a but more acoustic. And Randy was like "you didnt bring anything new to the song, but you sang well, you made it your own"

Well did she make it her own? or did she NOT bring anything new to the song?? How are they supposed to take advice from this haha

Yeah exactly, stuff like this annoys me. Simon is the only one that gives any helpful advice, even though he can be so critical. But it's needed a lot of the time. When they tell them they made it their own, a lot of times that's just a nice way of saying they didn't sing it right or in tune. Heck, I could make a song my own too but it doesn't mean it'll be any good haha.
