Gladiator Sandals. Opinions?

Ya, I see them everywhere on Ashley Olsen and Kirsten Dunst, but I am DEFINITELY NOT a fan. I this they are so ugly and not very lady like at all, but that's just my honest opinion.

Gladiators are BIG this season especially in metallic - check out the ones by Arche I just bought a pair in a store in London called Black Truffle...... I love them!!!!

I think they look fantastic so long as they have some heel or come in metallic. If they're just flat and leather they look too much like a costume piece.

I love the look of Gladiator sandals, but wonder how they would look on someone who's "vertically challanged"? I know that typically and shoes that wrap around the ankle cut of the length of the leg, making you appear shorter... I don't know, I think they're worth the try though.

yeah. they like fully slip down and whenever i wore em, when i had just bought em, they would slip and i would try and tie and really strong knot but it didnt work so...theyre somewhere in my house. or closet. i have noooo idea.
and yes, you can't wear them on top of jeans lmao. :o ew. i really can't imagine it. i saw this celebrity [can't remember who] wearing gladiator sandals with those straps on jeans -_- appalling.

metallics or neutral colors are best, i think....
well, i think it mosty depends on the style. like a full strappy one would look hideous if it was some browny/reddy/green/blue color etc. it would look hot if it was metallic or neutral. like the example i have above.

I think with the right cut on the heel they are awesome.

I really love the buckled styles in heels and flats, if they're metallic that’s a bonus! they've been doing wonders this summer toughening up pretty summer dresses. I've become a fan of wearing my metallic gold flat gladiators with long floral maxi dresses.
