I bought it at palo alto, CA. The LV store in Stanford Shopping Mall.

I never saw the similar bags in LV store again around bay area.

The truth is, a lot of LV stuff is tacky. I don't just think that, either: many, many people involved in fashion do. To quote from a piece I wrote at largeprimenumbers dot com...

The thing is, the sheep are those that tend to buy Louis Vuitton these days. Because they see the superficial dream that Louis Vuitton presents (and very well too. They've made a lot of money out of this dream!). It's the dream that with a Louis Vuitton bag, you are elevated to the ranks of the stylish and the beautiful. That you instantly become rich because you have a Louis Vuitton bag.

Of course, some Louis Vuitton stuff is very nice. But the overall image that Louis Vuitton is not.

Did you know AW that only 2% of Louis Vuitton bags seen in public now are real. The rest are fakes. The designer has become so dominated by lower class fashion it has become lower class. I see girls in LA everywhere with real bags, and its tragic. They look like they carry a second rate piece of junk even though they bought it for thousands of dollars.
Now I look for something truly original in the bag department if I am investing that will set me apart. Or just a good, sturdy, fashionable bag I can use that people will look twice at even if it costs 29 bux.

half the people i see that are carrying handbags are Louis Vuitton and i point out that they are fake to whoever i'm with and they always say "what if its real" and i give them a cold hard stare and say "its not".
personally, i dont like LV either. i was just trying to stick up for it because i thought people did like it. i only like the designs tho, i wanted to buy the bracelet with the little flowery thinggies and i ended up buying a Versace one instead, lol.
