subscribed threads

Sorry, this isnt actually a site suggestion but I didn't know where else to put it.
Just wanted to know how to disable subscribing to threads, as everytime there is a reply to a thread I replied on, I get email notification and its really cluttering my inbox... and I don't have the time to keep deleting each subscribed thread as when I reply on another, it automatically subscribes me to it.. or have i missed something?

Hello, you can disable this by clicking the "User Cp" link at the top and selecting "Edit options" on the left and change the "Default Thread Subscription Mode" to disabled.
