this may seem like the most stupid question in the world but i really am at a loss, i bought some pumps today that are peep toe, tried them on when i got home and they fit but on my right foot only two toes stick out and on the left three stick out the effect is the remaining toes and outside of my foot appear to bulge, the next size up is too long and my toes don't even make an appearance. i wouldn't mind except when i look down i can't help but feel my feet look stupid (i do have fat big toes) what would you reccomend giving up on the peep toe look? buying a size smaller?

also can anyone in the uk recommend a good pump for high arched feet, i have difficulty making them stay on my feet cause the sides always bulge away from my feet and my arch is a good inch higher than the ball of my feet.

This will probably vary from foot to foot based upon width and size alone especially with a narrow where foot there's a bit more tendency for the foot to slide forward. Not sure if it help any but m wife has two pairs of open toe sling backs, only her big and second toe can be seen.

It's not the most stupid question in the world. I worked in a shoe shop a couple of years ago and was amazed at the amount of issues people had about their feet, toes, ankles, etc. I mean I wouldn't have noticed the things they pointed at (well, unless there was something really ugly:D ) Different feet look different in the same shoes, so there is no rule about how many toes are allowed to stick out. But there's one thing that's sure - feet look terrible in the wrong sized shoe. They may look fine in the beginning, but after a while the lack of comfort will show. So just go for the size that feels more comfortable - it will look better in the end. Don't bother about the number of toes in the view - when shoes look lovely and fit you well noone will count :)
