I need a new haircut and am looking for a new style. Something that would look good on a 19 year old that stands out a little but can easily be worn to both work and school, nothing too extreme.

Also i want to make my dress stand out a little, nothing too extreme, just so i'm not your run-of-the-mill joe.

here's some pics of different hairstyles i've had within the last couple of years.

and then just for fun:

Let me know what you guys think. I'm mainly looking for advice on hair, but I'm open to anything. I'm thinking about trying a semi-short kind of messed up hair, I've tried this before, but have always been too conservative on the messed up part. Also, goatee or no goatee, or with what length hair?

thanks for the feedback, anything and everything is welcome

When all else fails keep is short clean cut with a bit of bed head for a bit of spunk! As much as ills me to say it search David Beckham on Google, just prior to the current shaven head he sports now he's had some really great short cuts that most men can easily pull off. It's a look that can be dressed up or down and rather flexible.

Of the pics you posted my favorite was the longer cut (the pic with your girlfriend - cute pic :) ) but since you are in the mood for something shorter, Finch's suggestion sounds just about right. Although to play the devil's advocate that style won't make you stand out since it is such a typical guys cut.

But what makes you stand out is more the image you project rather than the style itself so go with something you feel comfortable with and project the heck out of it! :D

And no goatee in my opinion.
