My wedge heeled boots..

These were custom, and I have a pair in black leather, black patent leather, silver metallic leather, purple metallic leather, and blue leather (pictured). Red leather pair in the making!

For a long time I was trying to find some boots that met all these requirements:

4" to 5" wedge heel
non platform
short pointed toe
NOT long pointed toe
zipper.

I couldn't find them, so I had them custom made from a company called shoesusa.com. I liked my black leather pair so much, I had several more pair made: black patent leather, silver metallic, purple metallic, blue leather. I'm waiting on a red leather.
The company since decided to make them part of their standard product line. Here they are!

The purple metallic pictured are one of my boots.

You avatar pic is cool! Sorry but I find the boots to be a bit tacky. Maybe a different color or with a pair of pants but the ones pictured look like there made from vinyl or pleather IMHO.

All 5 pair are leather. The blue pair pictured are very very very soft leather, with a leather lining of a lighter color blue. If you think those are tacky, you should see my silver and purple pair! :)

I think these are really space age wedges... interesting.. id wear em just because they are very modern and have a great statement to make. hats off for the bravery and the statement!

uhm wow... sorry but those aren't my type. plus - $400+ for them? are they out of their minds? The zipper on the blue pair is kinda cheap looking how it just stands out like that and the stitching on the top isn't straight. plus the zipper at the top doesn't look like it locks closed...i hope you got all of these for free. sorry but this is coming from someone who looks at stitching and zippers and trim for a living. i just hate seeing people being ripped off for so-so quality. it's a big pet-peeve of mine.

Flash back... Wow, I was raised by grandparents to an extent that made they're livelihood working in the fashion district sewing garments. I still remember to this day whenever I'd purchase clothing GAP, Banana, Boss etc. my grandmother would always do/say the same. She would always state you could see the care put into a garment by the how straight the stitch was!

I like them! Wedges are really comfortable to walk in! I'd choose them over flats anyday. Although i do wear flats when i need to. lol. I agree with the whole buying things from H&M, knowing they're going to fall apart too. Although H&M do have some really cool clothes! :D
