shaggy hair

Hey guys, I've gotten lazy and the hair has gotten longer, how long is too long? Its starting to get into my eyes and I'm getting 1/2 comments that some ppl love and 1/2 hate it. Does anyone have any tips out there?

There are two forms of shaggy, chic in which you grew it long and styled it accordingly. There's also the I've been lazy an didn't cut my hair for 6mos. The latter is probably not a look you want to put forth as a first impression.
