last month i got two birdcage necklaces from topshop: one black and one silver. i've only worn either of them maybe three or four times and they've both fallen to pieces. i don't have the receipts as one was a gift, but can i still return them? i just want them replaced.

Too bad, would they still accept it even without a receipt?

id that not the question being asked? If they value your business they'll do an exchange be it you have no receipt. Just be honest and tell them its not a matter of money just replacement.

just try to explain to them everything, maybe they'll fix it if they will not replace it.

you really should have the receipt for it replacement, you know they can't replace it just like that because we are talking here about jewelries ;)

i don't know..but some stores do not replace stuff if you do not have some proof of purchase of any sort. however, there is no harm in trying. just try to plead your case in a nice, diplomatic way. maybe they'll hear you out...good luck :)
