hi,
i wish to buy a ring,the lady lives in the usa,she has supplied me with a size, "six" could anyone tell me what this would be in english sizes please.

In the case of ring sizes I don't think you'll have to worry as you would with clothing. Worst case you can easily size up or down, do keep in mind that a wider band with fit tighter than a thinner band or shank.

I'm over a month late replying to this as I've just joined, but my father is a jeweller and I sold a lot of his old pieces online to fund my graduate fashion collection so I learnt a lot about jewellery in the process, so just incase you still need an answer, size 6 is equivalent to size L.

That's incorrect.
For example, H is meant to be 4, I is 4.5, J is 5 and so on .. you can work out the rest.
