I bought this dress earlier this week, need creative ideas!

I bought this dress and love how it looks on (which is much nicer than it does in this sloppy picture lol, but I didn't want to take a picture wearing it this low), but it's WAY too low for me. I can get it tailored to cover up a bit more, but I don't know what fabric color would look best with this (coral) color... I have nice silver stilettos that look amazing with this dress, but I can't really see silver fabric around the chest area.. Ideas? :rolleyes:

if you always wear the silver shoes with it, the silver fabric around the chest would be fine, but then you are limited to those shoes. but ivory or white would look very pretty against a coral as well.

I'd go for a contrasting color like bright purple or orange. It would look VERY Versace-ish a la Beyonce in the "Crazy in Love" video.

I think brown looks great with coral- the leopard shoes would be hot, or something like this:

Then you could just wear a little brown tank under the dress. It would be easier to tell though if you could take a picture of it on- can't you put on a camisole underneath it?

Actually that's a great idea! You could buy several thin (layering) tanks in all different colours and you'd get a lot more mileage out of that dress.

thin tanks, camisoles and/or bandeau tops would be a good investment as they come in so many colours. have you tried looking in american apparel? they always have a brilliant range of colour.
