If anyone has any questions to do with make-up just ask ? I'm studying cosmetology so i have good tips.

Here's some example tips

Tips:

1.Dont use fingers when applying foundation, use sponges (the natural oil from your fingers clogs pores, causes pimples)

2.If you have dark circles under your eyes, then buy some concelier and before applying it, put the concelier on your finger and rub it to warm it up and make it easier to put on, use your wedding finger to apply the concelier under your eye as to not stretch the skin.

3. when you put on foundation if you dont have dry skin apply loose powder with a blush brush briskly to give it that polished natural finished look.

4. If you are pale and your looking for a good way to tan but not go out into the sun or into tanning booths buy "jergens natural glow" its a moisturizer that tans your skin slowly, use it daily until you gert your desired color. Choose from 3 shades "fair" for pale skin "medium" or "tan".

5. if you want eyeshadow to stay on longer with out it getting faded, then lightly apply some concelier on your eyelids and then put on the eyeshadow, all day beatiful eyes.

Those are some of my tips, ask any questions and i'll try to answer them!

Hi Faris. I'm a makeup addict! I love it!!

I have some questions:

1. What's the best way to exfoliate lips other than using vaseline + toothbrush (b/c my lips are too sensitive for that)?

2. What type of concealer would work best to cover up brown patches (melasma)? I tried a green-based concealer but it didn't really work.

Hey "Fashion Freak".

Well if your lips are too sensitive to exfoliate lips other than using vaseline + toothbrush you should try either using lip balms that have exfoliating particles or what i like to do is apply NIVEA cream on your lips, this will softon up your lips, i do that and my lips are always soft.

Well i to cover up brown patches on your skin try smooth Indulgence Foundation by dermablend it might be a bit costly but it does the job heres the website to check it out Dermablend Corrective Cosmetics: cover cream | leg care | foundation skin | (http://www.dermablend.com/FullCatalog.aspx)

hope this helped!

Its very hard to give you any advice on the dry area around your eyebrows if you have tried everything and nothing worked maybe its a good idea to go to a skin specialist and they might have something to fix this, if this is an on going problem and if it hurts or iches and is always dry you'll have to consult a doctor.

And here are some tips for your nails :

1.Keeping your nails healthy is the first step to having them not crack or split so don't push your cuticles back, they are used to protect your nails pushing them back can damage them·
2.To prevent nail damage, don't use your fingernails as tools to pick, poke or pry things this will cause damage to the tips and they are more prone to being weak and peeling or cracking.
3.Also nails need to be moisturized just like your skin does. Rub lotion into your nails when moisturizing your hands. Be sure to apply a moisturizer each time you wash your hands. This will leave your nails healthy and that will lead to stronger nails
4. And lastly Apply a nail hardener, but avoid products containing "toluene sulfonamide" or "formaldehyde". Also do not use nail polish remover more then 1-2 a month this weakens your nails, instead if yr nail polish chips just fix that part.

i hope this helped !! xox

Hi Aisha,

I used to have the same problem several years ago and then i tried out Clinique's three step routine. You should go to a Clinique store and get them to test what skin type u are. Its really good and highly recommend it because I wear foundation and my skin is now really really smooth and vibrant that sometimes I don't need to use foundation if I don't feel like it :)

Don't use vaseline, that doesn't hydrate your skin at all!

Clinique: 3-step (http://www.clinique.co.uk/templates/products/3step_landing.tmpl) this is what i use. Make sure u go to the Clinique counter and let them test ure skin so they kno what one you should use!

Goodluck :)
