men shaving legs

So recenlty there has been some discussion on men wearing tights under pants to stay warm, it has brought up the issue of mens fashion and what was once taboo is now more accepted.

I hate legs hair, i dont care who its one, what they look like. It is sick looking, my opion ofcourse.
feeling this way I shave my legs.

I have talked to a few guys and many seem to be shaving there legs, it is becoming more popular, if not fashional for men to get rid of that nasty leg hair

I thought i would see how both men and women feel about men shaving there legs.

What are your thoughts?

I myself shave my under arms more so to reduce sweat when wearing a dress shirt of suit as for legs not for me but I have a couple friends who swim competitively and shave their whole body.

A b/f of mine, with hairy legs like a gorilla, shaved his legs a couple of years back - he was in real pain from his jeans brushing up against his hairless legs, so out of desperation he borrowed a pair of my tights which stopped the soreness ! He has never shaved his legs, or worn tights since. Apparently the hair on men's legs does serve a purpose, would any male elucidate ?

Umm well, I guess it depends on how masculine you want to be. I don't think I would like if my boyfriend would shave his legs, they're supposed to be hairy not smooth and shaven. I don't know, I guess you'll have to do it to find out how you feel about it.

i don't really like it when men shave their legs. I think it's a pain to have to shave mine so why would I want them to do it?? I used to swim and all the boy would shave. It was hilarious!

I dont entierely shave my legs but I keep it under control. I also shave my chest. Its a metter of hygiene though. I feel a lot cleaner when I have less hair on my body.

The legs don't bother me. As long as his chest and back are clean.. i'm cool ;)

i won't let my bf shave his legs.. i find it very masculine if men has hairy legs well not that much like a gorilla.:D

hmmm.. for me, its okay for men to shave his legs as long as he's comfortable to it!

There was a guy at college who shaved his legs because he did triathlons and said that it helped for whatever reason.

I wouldn't like it if my b/f shaved his legs though.

I think guys with shaved legs look absolutely weird.I can't imagine what it would be like if all the guys with their leg hair shaven,walking down the streets.:rolleyes:

Athletes usually wax all their body hair, can't remember the exact reason but it does help with performance, I think swimmers are most strict about body hair.

There is nothing wrong about men shaving the hair on their legs and I agree with what Slife said about it being hygienic. However, I do believe that the hair grows on that region for a purpose and one is for insulation. But then again, shaving depends on one's preference and others cannot do anything about it.
