I was just wondering what types of moisturizers work for you guys. I have used lots of different ones and dont like the way they make my face feel. Sometimes my skin seems oily but then at the same time it feels dry. Weird I know =)

I use Face Protector (http://www.thebodyshop.com/bodyshop/browse/product_detail.jsp?productId=prod170086&categoryId=cat5350003) from the Body Shop and their Mud Soap (http://www.thebodyshop.com/bodyshop/browse/product_detail.jsp?productId=prod170097&categoryId=cat20083) in the shower.

I think I have the same problem that you do. I've tried every possible moisturizer department/pharmacy and the best one I've tried so far is Dove sensative. It's light and it moisturizes all the right places even when it's applied to the whole face. And if your worried about SPF it also comes with SPF 15! :)

the 3-step clinique regime has to be the best.
it's tailor-made to suit your skin type, and it takes like two minutes, twice a day.

I use "jergens natural glow daily moisturizor" not only does it moisturize my face it gives me a subtle tan. And i absolutly love it, give it a try , youll be moisturized and tanned, without streaking or orange blotches.!!

Ive got horrible skin, its all oily

So I use Liz Earle moisturiser for Oily skin, its great because its all natural plant extracts.

When its cold or when I go swimming I use Johnsons Holiday Skin which just takes away the dry flakey skin on first application and gives me a tan. :)

well since the summer is upon us, I am definitely being more serious about the SPF in my moisturizer. I saw some great sunscreens in this month's More magazine that I want to try. One of them being Lancome's Absolue Soleil, with an SPF of 30. But that's more for the beach, I think for everyday use, my Clinique moisturizer has an SPF of 25 in it.

I never believe the top brands are better! The Body Shop is already good enough. They are not expensive and effective. What I like about them is that they use natural plants to make their products. I am using it and very happy with it.

I once used Creme De La Mer, which actually leaves your skin so nice and supple, but the price was ridiculous.
I have quite sensitive skin, so I thought a good, reputable cream from the high street should be just as good.. so I've been using Nivea Soft for years now.. its truly the best cream for me to use.

The bad thing about using the same thing all the time, is that your skin gets so used to it, so when you don't have it on, you can really tell... its the same with lip balm, I always have vaseline on.. but when I don't, my lips always feel super dry.. its very annoying!!

Hello! My boyfriend use the Nivea For Men Cream. It seems to be good but I don't like a lot this Brand. The advantage is that it's not so expensieve but I'm not sure about the quality... I've already heard some bad things about what they put on thier products...

I use Nivea night cream at night and in the morning i use clinique's moisturiser.

Ladies, you really should make sure you use moisturiser because as you get older, your skin becomes less supple and loses its elasticity. Basically you will end up looking old and hagged before your time.

i totally agree with you, alot of young ppl see their beautiful skin and get lazy to take care of it but they dont know that using the right beauty products will le t them look good when they grow older..the idea of taking care of ourselves is not just for now its cuz of the future look.

cliniques yellow moisturizer is the best.

but their 3 step regime is horrible for sensitive/dry skin.
clinique is made with 30% alcohal and acidic chemicals...

What about hand lotion? I want something that removes the dry skin and that doesn't leave that slimy, oily feel that leaves traces on everything you touch!

L'Occitane has a great hand creme... and it's not oily or gross.
It dries really nice.

I've recently discovered this stuff. Great products ... hate their pyramid sales model. Try their moisturizer though - if you have difficult skin. Also, their concealer is like nothing I've ever tried!

I have to agree with this one! I have used it and I have very dry skin. It is very rich so it feels amazing and the best part is that it doesn't make my sensitive skin break out.

I have tried so many products on my face. After years of experimenting I read the book "Don't go to the cosmetic counter without me" She had lots of great tips on bad products and saving money. In the end, I use Aveeno and Neutrogena for face wash and moisturizers. No creams, just serums. I also use Clinique face masks. The clay based one is the best for very oily skin.
Good Luck.
