Louis Vuitton is a hard one these days. So many knock-offs have made me suspicious that there are any real one's left. Its an automatic reaction to assume that if someone is carrying a LV it is Fake which dramatically cheapens the whole brand. Instead try Goyard they have the classic image of LV but have maintained a much tighter control of their brand image. www.goyard.com

You can never go wrong with a Hermes bag but they may be a little too plain for some, not to mention $$$ www.hermes.com

I prefer cheap and chic except for the occasional investment. I got a Chinese Laundry clutch recently (see pic) that i have gotten non-stop compliments on. It's not an 'investment' where I don't eat for a month but it was a far better purchase just because it's gorgeous and what I needed for a night out.

The waiting list here is up to 9 months..!! Worth waiting?!!
Of course, its the most suitable corporate bag i'll ever get, suits day and night, a day at work and a night out, plus its a good investment for a purse addict!!

I find most of the handbags I buy don't need to be $7,000 dollars to be fashionable. Although I would love to get a Birkin the bags are expensive as all bejeesus, and they have a waiting list.
