I thought I ordered stonewashed (Thinking they'd be light blue). I recieved jeans that were navy and thought damn they put the wrong ones in dispatch. - looked at the back label it says "wash separetley. indigo garments are designed to fade and loose their colour"
does this mean if I keep washing them and washing them they should turn out the light blue I've been looking for?

Any denim, no matter what the quality will fade in the sun and the wash. The process of stone washing denim can be light or heavy giving different effects. You may have a lot of washes before achieving the colour you want.

Good luck.

Hi

Firstly, don't iron denim if you can help it. Jeans just don't need to be ironed. To soften them use a fabric softener. They do work.

Also, next time you wash them don't use too much powder and wash them on a low heat. Then dry them naturally and not in a dryer or on a radiator.
