Hi everyone. My sister has been having fashion troubles with her bra's very recently, I first noticed when we was on the bus on the way to visit someone and she took her jacket off, she was concealing her fallen bra strap at the same time so when the jacket was off it was back under her top but I noticed because when she moved her arm away she had to lean that shoulder down again to remove the other jacket sleeve and her bra strap came out again and slipped down her arm before she could readjust so I worked out what she was doing. This problem repeated itself whilst we were on the bus, she brushed my arm every time she was lifting the strap back up so I knew every time it fell down.

Because of the weather my sister has now been wearing sleeveless tops more or less every day for 2 weeks now and the problem repeats itself she is always every few mins tugging at her top to keep her bra in check, sitting shoulders hunched etc. sometimes she even sits there holding it up depending on how bad its playing up. Her strap is very long and goes right down to her elbow when it falls down she is also moaning at me a lot now about wether they can be seen and to tell her if she dont notice.

Before anyone says tighten the straps she already had me do it numerous times but they just dont stay tight for much longer then half an hour I dont know why. None of my female friends want to help so any advice is welcome as it is getting annoying.

Hi TwinkleStar are your bras by any chance got thin shoelace straps?

My sister has thin straps I tried to get her to try thicker straps but she doesnt like the look of them. But now she folds the edge of her top in so the strap is hooked under the top, it seems to work quite well you may want to try that as a tip although if she bends down too much or if the top is baggy sometimes it falls out, also because the back of her straps tends to always be showing she tries to wear matching colours with her top now to help it not be so obvious. The problem my sister is having tho is when a strap does come out the top it doesnt slide a bit on her shoulder it just falls down her arm immediatly so noone can warn her saying your bra strap is showing it is either covered or down her arm.

For tops with straps she usually doesnt wear the bra.

well I find it a bit weird it seems a problem that few women have but no solution found. My sister is still having problems with a few tops, which when outside in a large area its not too bad since her thin straps arent that noticeable but somewhere like in a supermarket its very embarrassing as people are very close. End of the day tho she doesnt seem as fussed anymore.
