Mary Kate Olsen is definitly my style icon. She can pull anything off, and I love the mix of styles she goes for in one outfit. Whenever I want something funky, I always look at her pictures for inspiration. Anyone agree?

I am so tired of every single tabloid magazine bashing on these s. I think they are the cutest things and they can pull of anything they wear! Im so glad you guys agree. I love their style aswell, but I find Mary-Kate used to dress a little weird before (the whole cowboy hat and boots with peasant skirt). But now she dresses much better.

I don't really pay attention to them, Lindsay Lohan and the other one...whats her name Hilary Duff...they are just teenybopper Americans...the Olsen twins make me laugh the way they pose and dress sexy, they should act more their age and stop trying to hard to be grown up. They have beautiful eyes however.

Nicole Ritchie and Paris Hilton are the only two I give any time to.

I have to apologize with so many fans of Mary Kate but I just dislike her style. She is cute but all this layers, in her tiny body! and the messy hair! and dramatic makeup! Not my style, maybe I am too old for this. I like how Lindsay Lohan dresses, but my favorite is Nicole Ritchie, she is really stylish, even being so skinny.

I have to agree I think they can both dress really well and like their scruffy look but I think we all need to be responsible and not put people who are so painfully thin on a pedistool. The truth is when your that skinny you can chuck most clothes on and with their kind of money, and there natural style.... well they are bound to look good.

They take a lot of abuse for their sense of style but that's just dumb. They have a different fashion sense than most of Hollywood and I enjoy that. Celebrities shouldn't be cookie cutter versions of each other.

i am not crazy about their style, just not my look...but i like that they both have thier own sense of style & dont really care about what others think about them. they are comfortable with who they are & despite the money that they have they dont seem as "crazy" as some of the other celebs there age.

I like their style and ambition, but how could you admire these girls lifestyle. They both have many problems, including anorexia. Is this what you admire?

Now don't get me wrong, I understand that everyone has problems. However, for these girls to be given a free pass every time something goes wrong. It just doesn't see, right to me.

that is a serious problem that many people sufer with. I don't think she got a free pass at all. She went to rehad, and is in therapy....so as far as I'm concerend, she's owned up to her problem and faced it (unlike some other female stars in the spotlight these days!)

I say free pass because every time they are mentioned in a negative light, it somehow gets overshadowed. Like i said before, I like them as people, but I don't like their image, and that isn't totally their fault. But, they are certainly not doing anything to help it either.

When you screw up, you must take responsibility. Going to rehab doesn't make you responsible. The reason she was in rehab, is because her agent made her go. It would LOOK good for the public. Otherwise, don't count on her being there.

I just don't want to see these girls turn into Lindsay Lohan or Paris Hilton.

I don't understand how she can take responsibility for it other than going to rehab?! She realized she made a mistake and owned up to it by admitting it and fixing it. She is also currently in therapy. I mean they are both in school full time and are running their business, I'm not quite sure what more you could ask for these girls. I think by owning up to her mistake, she IS setting herself apart from the Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton's of the world. I mean what more could she have done? Plus, this was over a year ago...they've been out of the negative spot light for quite a while.

Wow! I loved both of the twins' style. Absoultely breathtaking and really effortless. Any style fits them and they can carry it so well.
I like their laid back style, their boho style and the glam look of course.
Mary Kate is not pretty but what makes her pretty is how she carries herself and how she dresses up effortlessly.
I saw in the past posts in this topic that one of the twins, I'm not sure if it's MK or Ashley, has a fringe bag.
