Oversized Sunglasses

I definitely think that oversized sunglasses are going to definitely be in again this summer... I don't think it matters if they look good on you or not, the bigger the better. It doesnt matter if they take up half of your face, WEAR THEM! they are in in in!!!!

Example: Nicole Richie's sunglasses... if she can do it so can we.... location and status does not matter!

I think, like with any fashion, you should only wear them if they compliment your face and if you like them. Some people look really wierd in oversized sunglasses because they have a small face, they look like a fly. Others look really good in oversized frames but ridiculous in small frames because their face is too big and it looks like their face is eating the sunglasses. I, personally, have been wearing large sunglasses for years. They are not a new trend, Jackie Onassis wore them in the 60's and 70's, but in recent months they have grew in popularity.

oversized sunglasses dont match my face at all not even the small ones, i like the medium size, i look like a fly cuz i have a small face just like sister2paris said lol..but they always look fashionly good..and i love it on my sister cuz she has a round face, she looks really cute..

I don't really like them, I think they make people look like they are hiding their bugeyes, but sometimes I think they look cute, depending on who's wearing them. :wink:

I think that oversized glasses are hot! I saw Nicole Richie wearing some gigantically sorts, but they didn't really fit her.

a friend of mine bought SUPER cheap over-sized sunglasses at the drugstore that look really cool! sitting on the shelf for years for the old ladies, now the style is designer. don't spend so much if you don't have to for a trend, go to CVS and try some out and see how you like wearing them, and have fun with them. haha-i'm serious!

Personally I look ridiculous in oversized sunglasses, my face is just too small and I always end up looking overly bug-eyed in them. But if you have the face for them they can look great, definately.

For me, I think I'll stick to my smaller shades :)

I love oversized sunnies, they're very Jackie O, but they definately don't suit everyone. Regardless of if they are in or not, you should wear sunnies that suit you.

It depends on who's wearing them. On some people, over-sized sunglasses will compliment thier face. On some other people, it just looks plain bad. Personally, I like over-sized glasses, some frames look great on me.

I recently bought a white pair from Oliver Peoples.....very cute. then I saw a similar pair at a drugstore with little crystals on the sides! I bought those and I wear them instead of my Ollies. Oh well!

It entirely depends on who is wearing the sunglasses,oversized sunglasses on someone that doesn't suit them will only make like look like a bug.

Thanks to my uncle's shopping mishap, I have now discovered that I love oversized sunglasses. For once, I'm quite proud of my large, sqaure-shaped face and "five" head. However, people with petite faces should stay away from them; they tend to resemble safety goggles in their case.

I love huge sunglasses i totally agree that they are not going anywhere. They are perfect for just putting on in the morning when you have to go out grocery shopping or watever im in love with them!!

My newest sunglasses which i bought about 3 weeks ago are perfect, they are by Tom Ford i would reccomend them to anyone who loves stylish and large sunglasses.

i used to always wear oversized sunglasses; I just thought they looked great. But once I started looking at pictures of me wearing those sunglasses, I decided to no longer buy them. Now I just opt for frames that suit my face shape

You have to wear glasses relevant to your face shape :) so depending on that you should by suitable glasses. :)

I have always loved the look of oversized sunglasses, but they never looked that great on me. What I have noticed this year is that even though the frames are still big, the colours are softer. The frames have colour like pink, purples and neutral but creamy beige. And the lenses match with a soft colour as well. So even though they are still big, they are lighter in coulors AND you can see the eyes so they don't look so mysterious anymore. I really like the new version!

Oversized sunglasses are in but it doesn't mean that if it is in you have to wear it even though you don't look good at it. You wear or choose sunglasses to suit your face not to suit with the fashion world.

Personally, I love big sunglasses, but I think that the super over-sized - the kind that cover half your face - like the fug. LOL.

To OP, Ray Ban and the channel is good. If you have a general specs go to the store, I'm sure you over-sized glasses of different brands can get a lot.
