You relate to a designers clothing, not really to the designer or the label itself. Different designers can take the same look different ways. If you like something designed by Betsy Johnson, chances are you will like other things she designed. Granted there are some designers clothing that you like one piece and hate the rest, but the majority is a love/hate relationship.
