Fashion Faux Pas (Black and Brown)

I have a pair of dark brown shorts and a black tee shirt. Is it a fashion no-no to wear them together? If not, what color shoes should I wear?

I see nothing wrong with wearing those 2 together,but then as my title indicates i'm a 'fashion newborn'.U could probably wear them with pale coloured flats,something like beige or cream.

Eww, please do not wear brown and black together. Black and Khakhis is fine but not black and brown. I, personally, along with others that I know, find brown and black to look bad together. Please do not wear them together.

i dont think that they will look good together, both of them are dark colors and cannot match together, try something like with each one seperately..

i don't really like those two colours together since they are both dark colours but if you really want to wear them together you could always wear a nice light coloured belt and light coloured shoes with them. which would probably make them look better and not look too dark together. :D
