is it just me ? i dunno about u girls in other countries but in aus, its really really in right now. Lots of girls in my school don't really bother to brush it, they just tie it up roughly and i think it looks really hot.
But i can't do it coz my hair is dead straight and kind of boofy so it kind of sucks.

i never thought that messy hair is out, its always in, well the hair styles are never out, especialyl for the messy, curly and straight.
well if you're hair is straight you can do some tricks to make it messy..use hair mousse and take strands from your hair and brush it in he other way..|like if you're brushing it from top to bottom, brush it from bottom to top" but do it from the middle of ur hair and not at the begining..
My hair is soft wavy so i can work it with all styles :D but my problem that it goes greasy in just a second..!! :s

i have really straight hair too.
what i do, is dry it before i go to bed, and when i wake up it's usually looking good.
use texturising gum to give it a little oomph.
but remember that although it's in, you don't have to wear it!

THATS WHAT I DO TOO! .... i love not doing anything to my hair sometimes like blowdrying it and straightening it pin straight gets sooo tedius... lately though i have been using a big barrel curling iron and curling random strands so that it still looks like i didnt do anything to it but has a bit of bounce to it.

i often scrucnh mousse into mine to give it a bit of a loose wave.
and i brush my fringe back so it falls into an asymetrical, textured wave.
minimal effort.
it always gets complimented, even when i don't bother brushing it.
:]
i think curly hair looks great loosely tied back, too.

I'm from Australia (Sydney) and most of the girls have neat, blow-dried hair that they've obviously spent hours doing.

I've got slightly wavy hair, it's smooth and can get oily quite quickly, i find that a spray of sea salt spray is great for that straight from the beach look...straight into a loose side pony and it looks great!

i have really long hair thats naturally curly..looks great at the beach, but its annoying on the day to day...so i blow it straight and then use a thick curling iron to get messy-lazy-wavey curls, softer looking than the surf-lioness hair i was born with.
for some reason that kind of messy is easier for me to handle than the beach curls, haha! xo
