picked up a burberry trench in a charity shop last week. I already have a navy blue one, but are these on their way out? i can't decide whether they're classic or just a Kate-Moss subliminal fascination.

My personal opinion, since it is not Burberry plaid all over and it is just a regular tan trench on the outside, you are on the safe side. I have a trench like that I wear to with my work clothes, because it is practical and it goes well with dress pants.

haha, i work in a charity shop on sundays, in quite a rich neighbourhood. It's the ultimate in cheap designer clothes. it's twenty pounds though, which is about 35 dollars, but still. i got a pair of marc jacobs kitten heels once for 8 pounds.

I've always wanted a trenchcoat but never really bought one. Guess it's because they havenät been trendy until now. But the trenchcoat looks good, I agree with sister2paris since the isn't all over it, it looks good. I hate it when the logo is all over the place, specially when it comes to clothes. It's ok on accesories but not on apparel.

Its not over, i just saw a similar one by Juicy Couture and alot of ppl were wearing it..plus those kind of designs are never over cuz the style is casual and the color is beige, so nothing to be afraid of..

i'm all about getting outterwear in multiple colors, anyway. i think that's really the mark of a person who has a great closet - they don't just do basics in black, they also do basics ON THE OUTSIDE in a variety of patterns/textures.

What about fur trenchcoats? I'm not really sure what's the style like in US, or UK but I do know that in Japan/Korea, these are pretty big there.

But you know what guys, here in our country its a rare thing when you see people wearing those kinds of clothes.. Because we only have two seasons here.. cool season(spring) and hot season(summer), our cool season is not really that cool, so people may only stick with their simple jackets on or just wearing long sleeves.. I must admit those trench are applicable depends on seasons and country.. like those who has a winter season like in the US.. and yeah, they are still "IN"
