I've been wearing powdered make-up for several years now, but have recently heard of "mineral" make-up, which is basically the same thing as traditional powdered make-up, but made from minerals and healthy ingredients instead of chemicals. Do any of you use it? How good is it compared to traditional powdered make-up? I'd love to hear some reviews before I start spending money on products I may or may not like. Thanks in advance!

i use bareminerals and while I have not used a wide variety of foundations and facial makeup in the past, I really like it. It really blends in with my skin (i have a really hard skintone to match also) and i thought it was almost a miracle that the longer i wore it the better it seemed to look.

I've used Bare Essentials. It's nice because it's light and it has SPF in it. I like the blush as well. But that's all I've used before

i bought a starter kit that has no foundation, but lots of bronzer and 3 eyeshadows along with mineral veil, lip gloss, and mascara. It was only 40 bucks, but it's' really great. The bronzer is very light and doesn't make you look ashy. The eyeshadows can be used sheer or with added water, can be dramatic. I'm yet to try the foundation, but so far, I LOVE their stuff.

I love mineral powder foundation, to me it feels alot lighter and smoother but gives me the best coverage and it blends great with my skin tone. Bare Essentials is great and topped off with a tiny bit of bronzer and or blush, it's just very fresh and turns out flawless cuz it's a nice light powder:)
