Bored with winter boots, need help!

Hi,

I'm a guy in a country (Canada) where the winter is cold and I need a new pair of boots. What I have is a generic pair of boring black boots. I've done a bit of shopping but everything I saw in stores seems quite as boring right now.

I am wondering if anybody has suggestions for a good pair of black boots. I wonder if a man can pull off wearing tall boots during winter?

I think that the best boots for the winter are Timberlands.Those are my #1 winter boots.

They do take to punishment rather well! Myself I have a pair of Tuff boots from Roots which also hold up well in a Canadian winter.
