are there certain types of earrings that look good on certain face shapes?

I love these dangling/chanedelier earrings, they come in different shapes and lengths of course, the one in the photo is kind of longish.

I think they look great on everyone, if you pass by an accessory shop at the mall hold some up and see how they suite you then you know which styles/shapes to go with especially when purchasing online.

I think these earrings look great even with jeans and a stylish top.
