I was reading this website and they seem to focus on both mens fashion and womans.
I got myself face cream for the first time the other day, it felt good. But I dont want my friends to think I am gay... what do you guys think?
Its not gay to moisturize your skin, its just keeping it healthy.

don't worry so much...i don't think it matters what others think about you...as long as you feel good who care what other people say... (a quote from a friend) :D

I look at my face sometimes and think it looks a bit pale as though one looks unwell.
I think it's a good idea to use something on the face to bring out a better base colour.
Good luck to you I think I may join you.
Peter.

guys here do morrocan bath, facial and trimming, this is usual to take her of yourself,. I remember i read a survey about what both sex think about men doing such stuff and the result was that men thought that its not manly to do those thing and all women approved it cuz they know how it feels to take good care of yourself..
do whatever you want since you're not gay and if you're still afraid just dont talk about it in front of ur friends..
After all this is for your own benefit to take care of ur skin..who cares what others think..

Pete you said,
"I think it's a good idea to use something on the face to bring out a better base colour" I take care of my face but sometimes I think it looks a bit pale too, so I use some make up to look my best.

My bestfriend is not gay and he spends more time primping than I do. He tans, gets mani/pedis (not fake nails, just filing and a clear coat) he goes to the spa with me to get facials/massages, he even gets waxed. It is all about taking care of yourself. He wants to age gracefully, not before his time. Take care of your body, it is the only one you have and it takes care of you.

Your not gay if you are into fashion and buy a cream for your face. A lot of people think about how they look and buy things for themselves. It's alright and normal (?) But I don't get why some guys think they're gay, when they do that? For me it's normal as long as they don't overdo it.

well, this guy (http://www.lancearthur.com/archives/cat_man_grooming.html) is gay, but he's giving advice to straight guys... "Lance's Guide to Man Grooming Part 1" (http://www.lancearthur.com/archives/000214.html)
i think that skin, hair, and beauty products are more an issue of caring for yourself. when we start talking about makeup on guys though, it is more an issue of what you personally find attractive and how unusual you are willing to look. i know of at least one goth club that has a 'lipstick night' where everyone (men included) wearing lipstick gets discounted drinks. so ...what do you find attractive and what do the people you find attractive like about you?
add to that, skin care products for thirty-something year old men that contain retinol and alpha hydroxy are one of the fastest growing markets. acceptance is growing.

I don't like a guy who spends more time getting ready than i do. But i do think it is important for a man to take care of himself and to have good style. I like the scruffy look, but a maintained sort of high fashion scruffy look is HOT HOT HOT. Definately a Brad Pitt or Orlando Bloom thing :P

I went to the shops the other week to get some sort of foundation but I bottled out.
I still intend to get some when I have the courage.

It's interesting to see so many guys thinking along the same lines as myself.
In recent years, I've decided to take more care of my personal appearence, and have been looking into skin care etc. Thanks for the 4voo.com link, it's just what I've been looking for. I've been considering cosmetics for a while now, and wasn't sure how to go about it.
I think I have more confidence to use things like that, but I would still only buy online...LOL! Shame on me...

i love it when men like fashion!! who cares what people think? liking the way you look and caring about yourself doesn't determine your sexuality.
Definitely. Most men dress quite poorly. Do men want woman not to not care about they way they look? Of course, one should not go overboard. Just at least basic presentation. :p
