hi any help please?

I have this dress which I am wearing to an occasion this week but I have just ironed a hole in it! It is in the lining so you can't see it so i tried to sew it up but now it feels really uncomfortable to wear and i dont feel confident in it as it is now all lopsided and odd looking. I have no time to buy a new dress and dont have anything else to wear. How can I sort out my dress?? Thanks to anyone who replies!!

i was woundering where the hole is...like is it right on the side? what colour is the dress and what material is it...this just makes it easier to help you. :D
