I didn't care for or wear cowboy boots at one time. But my lifestyle changed, and I was weary of matching socks to suits and my attire.

Now I prefer casual wear of jeans and cowboy boots ... mainly because i don't have to shop for, buy and wear, different colored socks! I like cowboy boots (don't wear cowboy hat though, that would make me a "drugstore cowboy"),;) and sandels.:cool:

I think that it depends on how outrageous the boot is. Some are actually very chic. The more simple, the better!

Cowboy boots were fashionable for about 5 minutes 2 years ago...unless you live on a ranch, DO NOT wear these. I will send the fashion police after you!

I think it really depends on the person and where you are. It would look really wrong if all the fashionistas in New York were wearing them cos you'd be like, Where's the ranch? But somebody in somewhere hot and kinda open could get away with it no problem. I suppose as long as they are simple and the right colour for your outfit then just go for it!

I've been wearing my cowboy boots quite a lot for the last 2 years because I was still at University, in need of some new boots and the only ones I could afford were the ones that started at 99p on eBay. Luckily for me, noone else wanted them! ..

They are so comfy, and I'm always wearing dresses with nice thick, wool tights, so the 'look' doesn't look too 'cowboyee'... and so many times, especially when I'm in Topshop, there's always at least one girl asking me where I got them from.

They're not a typical cowboy style though, the heel is different but there is leather fringing.. I'll try get a photo.

depend upon the person wearing and the combination of the dress, it can be very fashionable but it can also be hilarious if you dont know how to wear it properly.

Come on guys and gals.....if you see Britney Spears wearing them non-stop you have to know they are trailer trash class. When she embraces a trend, you know its out of style.

i defiently hate cowboy boots. the only time they are appropriate is on a farm or at a county fair. mmaybe a country music concert

I love my cowboy boots (http://www.FortWestern.com). I grew up wearing them most days. When they fit well they are the most comfortable shoes you will ever own. Not all boots are ugly or gaudy, there are plenty that are simply beautiful.
