I just wrote in the ad section about a new product my cousin in London told me about - a hair straightening machine (beautiful vending i think) that goes in girls toilets of bars/clubs in the UK. It's doing really well and I soo want it in my area but what do you's think - is straight hair here to stay?? I often curl my hair with my straighteners as well so I suppose that another option. Just thought that machine is such a cool thing - you go on a night out, hair goes a bit 'wayward' and now you can pay to use hair-straighteners - godsend!!! Do you people think it'll catch on. I personally couldnt live without my hair straighteners now and would be a bit apprehensive about going back to the natural look..

It seems to me that straight hair isn't necessarily out as long as there's volume. From what I've been seeing, it's all about volume and curls. Hope this helps.

I agree, straight or curl is all about volume

Nothing is in or out, you just do what suits you plus you will need to curl ur hair and straighten it from time to time, depends on the occassion, you should always have ALL THE TOOLS ..you're a gurl and you should have everything, this is my rule.

i agree, your a gril you will need all the tools...but i also agree that volume is probably the main thing. But with most people that i know they go through these phases of curls and straight so i really think that it depends on the person themselves.

Big hair is in.

But big hair is hard to get everyday. Straight hair is in too though. The only things I would stay away from is tight curls (sooo 80's).

For the day-to-day look, try loose curls with a big curling iron, or scrunching your hair. Straight hair is always gorgeous too, especially if you have layers.

Personally I'm not into the big hair thing. I prefer straight. It sort of looks more sophisticated.

I think that .. straight hair is in. I mean, many people have straight hair - and I've never heard about it being out (?)
