I think that this forum should try and limit people who are using it as free advertisement. It is so annoying when people sign up just to push their "goods." They have nothing worthwhile to say and just end up taking up space on the boards. I think that you should cut out the advertisement section of this forum and maintain a rule that the only advertisement is what you can fit in your signature line. I know that there are some great people who post useful information and do not just try and get free advertisement, but then there are some others who don't know when to stop. I think that if you could clear this out, then people would be able to hold meaningful conversations with one another. These are just my suggestions.
I think your suggestion is fake - shame on you.

Thank you for your opinion. I believe that you are one of the posters who has nothing real to contribute to this forum, just your outlet for free advertisement.

sister2paris, i totally agree with you, i noticed alot of ads in here, i guess there should be a way to stop registering for those puroses..like no one can register before taking the admin's accepatance..then they give them permission to register..some of the forums does that..no one can register..

I try and delete the posts you are talking about and i need more moderators to help me delete these posts. If you like I could upgraded your permissions so you as well can delete these posts. I moved the advertisement section to the top to try and prevent people posting in other areas. Thanks

sister2paris : It sounds like a good idea, but it's going to be hard to do that.

I have tried to delete many posts that are just selling items. Many of them are disguising themselves as regular people with great new sites they just found. I am deleting the remainder as I find them. I think that the boards are looking great!!!

I totally agree sister2paris. Crystalwings and myself also delete these posts and I think its looking much better now. My fav mods, sister2paris and crystalwings will be getting a nice present from myself for moderating the forum maybe in a few months or something or i'll get you's christmas presents or something. I'll work something out. I think the forums looking good too, its constantly evolving due to member requests. Any suggestions or new features you'd like to see just ask.

When people register could they not have the choice of putting their date of birth. Then, when its their birthday you could post a standard birthday acknowledement.
That would be a nice personal touch.
Pete. :)

How about Mr Administrator person, that when you have the topics in line that when you place your cursor on a heading the first sentance of the topic appears so you have an idea of the context of the topic without having to click on, etc, etc. Do you see what I mean.

I might be blind, but I can’t find a ‘quote’ button… I think that would be useful :)

The person I replied to was really getting on my nerves by posting fake knock off crap constantly. You will start seeing the people who get me flusterd, I don't hold back very often.

I think it is neat for a designer to advertise there excitement about there new line! however advertising for boutiques etc.. it gets pretty annoying..
However a chat topic about manufactures would be great..
I am in need of a great childrens clothing manufacture. and no other designers will let you know who they use..It would really help>/
