Hello boys and girls. I am thinking of treating myself to the mens leather pants and blazer. What do you think. They are by West Coast Leathers and look top notch to me.
I am 50 this year and believe its the year to spoil myself.
Thanks, Peter

leather looks sexy on ladies, but i cannot wear it, somehow i tried wearing leather pants years ago i and i was nearly suffocating from heat, lool, i guess that maybe jackets would suit me more but in a colder country.. :D

you know when i looks at leather outfits i always remember bikers!! donno why..but they look really good, its really amazing that you're 50 years old and you like such stuff, usually men on this age like more comfy cotton stuff, like t-shirt and shorts..they look nice..

Hi kytheria.
Yes I suppose it is amazing that I am nearly 50 and still wearing leather stuff. Too many guys let themselves go at my age or earlier.
I have always taken a pride in appearence, and worn leather since I was a young man. I love it. But I don't overdo it.
But I have never had a suit and this looks good quality stuff.
So when I buy I will let you know and post some pics in the months to come then you can all comment on what the 50 year old Pete looks like.
Leather not just for bikers.

Ummm. I must admit I only usually wear one or the other mostly the pants, {or shorts} all leather can be a bit too much, but the jacket is something you can sling over your shoulder.
ummm.
Peter.

Yes I agree with that actually.
I think I fall into the catagory of being able to carry it. I hope anyway I've been wearin leather for years.

I love leather, have got the pants the jacket and even a full ankle length coat. I suppose being a biker provides some insight as to why I like leather as well. But leather being a natural fabric breathes better and keeps out most of the cold.

I've often thought of getting a bike so I can wear leather for a good excuse but truth is motor bikes are not my thing, so I am still looking for a rock band, He, he.

I adore a bit of leather. I wouldn't go for a full outfit in the stuff but I adore my jackets and I got a couple pairs of leather pants too. I disagree with the assertion that they are too hot - in fact if the leather is supple and thin then they can be quite comfortable.

Absolutly agree with the so called hotness of leather. Leather breathes, and can be cool. In bright hot sun leather may be indeed hot.
I wear shorts especially all year. The important thing is if they are lined they may well be sweaty.

Certain people can pull off a leather outfit, others can't. But, if you feel comfortable in it, then wear it.

Are you tall and slim?
If so, then I guess you are more likely to pull it off, otherwise a big fat NO ( unless you are a hells angel or whatever- but that's a different kind of leather-wearing isn't it? :D ).
Also I think leather-wearing is similar to denim-wearing in the sense that you should never wear the whole outfit- either the trousers or the jacket.

Those shorts look incredibly gay, which if you are not, then it might not be the impression that you're happy to give haha.

And; if you don't care about what I've just said, then; whatever floats your boat! Goferit!

Hi glitterati, I am quite tall, 34" waist. I think those shorts are gayish but I am not gay. I realise they may give the wrong impression but i have liked leather shorts since I was a teenager.
I should have been born a German person.
Thanks.

Um, no. A leather suit is about as cheesy as it gets. No offense but I would NOT get it.

I did'nt get it actually. One piece is sufficient and leather looks more complimented by another material. I think.
ie Leather shorts/trousers with a cotton shirt.
