What do you think? Burberry or Louis Vuitton?

Okay I recently bought a Burberry BC Chester handbag. Mainly because I love the classic Nova Check and the cute little Equestrian Knight.
I don't own a Louis, but i was seriously considering purchasing.
Honestly now, I would be kicking myself if i did. c'mon EVERYWHERE i go i see that famous over exposed LV!!! Very cute, but getting old.

LV is never old, if i were u i would go running to get the LV bag, its not that it looks that good, it is but cuz its leather and practical, the burberry one will catch dirt so fast cuz its beige, i got 2 burberry bags and all of them turned black..!!

LV, is something for life, even if the model is old but those monograms are never, those are the basic LVs, you can wear it with anything at anytime..


i got 3 LV bags and a wallet from years, they never change..

I kinda prefer Louis Vuitton over Burberry. But that's just my personal opinion.

What about finding something other than Louis or Burberry. What about Marc Jacobs, Chloe, Gucci, Fendi....they all make cute bags. I personally do not like Burberry since everyone is on that band wagon and print has be over used by everyone.

sister2paris, the other designer you named are so nice but they're not for a daily practical bag, i love chloe bags but they're more into evening bags, and they're too heavy..

today i went and saw Jimmy Choo's bags, they are lovely, but still not as good as LV..

By the way, i used to have this Burberry bag, i kept it with me for few months, i wore it like 6 times and its all black now..when i went to Burberry shop to get it cleaned they told me that they will take the bag and replace it with anything i want from the shop within the same price. i was surprised, but they told me that this bag gets dirty so fast and they didnt know that before cuz its was their mistake to let gurls get it, cuz we were the black gown and it damaged anything in light colors..so i choose a wool skirt instead..

To be honest I'm not keen on either of them. They have both become 'common' unfortunately!!

kytheria I am glad to hear that Burberry helped make you purse situation better. I get so mad when my purses get dirty. I spend so much money and people expect me to put them on the floor. The other day I stopped by the woman's restroom and there were not purse hooks or lady to hold the purse while you did what you needed to do...I had to go somewhere else because I am not putting my purse on the bathroom floor. YUCK!!!

sister2paris, i have no problem putting my bag on the floor but it has to be clean, the public toilets in here are "usually" very clean, but if not then i let my sis or friend to hold it for me, there is no way you know lol, i guess you know how it feels when you see a dirt spot on a valuable bag..but most of our public toilets got hangers to hang our abayas and sheilas, so most of the time we dont have this problem. the hangers are a must in every restroom..

filthygorgeous, for me, sometimes i need one of those "common" bags, they're very comfortable and can be carried at any time, sometimes i dont have to change my bag, those big bags are good.

okay, so ive had this burberry purse for a little over a week, and ive noticed that it doesnt stay its original shape. it gets bent easily. How are LVs? can they live up to the wear and tear of everyday life?
i need it to e verry sturdy.

babe_e_girl, i always recommend LV for practical daily use, theyre so good but get the monogram or damier leather..they're the best..

I'm a big fan of LV for many years, and their stuff REALLY lasts! The leather is of really good quality :)

out of those two i would prefer the burberry one but thats an personal opnion. I mean i've got a burberry walet that's still nice and clean. But i would otherwise prefer Dior or something like that.

Personally i prefer LV over Burberry anyday but my faveorite bags come from the ultra famous Marc Jacobs. My wardrobe slash room is full of Marc jacobs and let me check *looks at tag of over top* yep i even am wearing Marc J. But that is just my opinon.

Have had both kinda bags through the years , But have always fave the LV more as it is hard wearing .

Not into the other ones as much , so many people have them , I'm liking rare ! so I'm on the look out for the next best selling bag ! nice to have something different from the rest.

yea i know nearly everyone likes the LV one or just choose a Dior
