Von Dutch

n e 1 know that brand??!All my friends have got jeans from there and they're urging me to buy too.I haven't seen their website yet.Not a huge fan(from wat i've seen my friends sporting) but i'm wondering if u guys knew a bit more.Your info and advice welcome.

Von Dutch has been around for awhile now. I had some clothing and trucker hats from them about 4 years ago, but I do not wear them now.

If you don't mind me asking, where are you from? Von Dutch was really big in the US about 3-4 years ago....it has since faded in popularity.

yah i know Von Dutch, i saw it from a while, years ago, but never had a chance to buy anything from them, some shops used to bring their clothes and caps but they were always out of stock, i visit their website from time to time .. i heard from a friend that they opened their own shop in Dubai so i wanna visit it soon, at least their goods wont be sold out as quick as before..alot of my friends are wearing ther jeanz, shirts and caps.

but somehow its a not a gurly wear, it reminds me of eagles and guys lol..but its nice and i liked their pink cap..

It's true that their clothes are rather guyish.I prefer more elegant & feminine stuff so i think i'm not gonna buy ne thing from them after all

But i don't want to look boyish!I'm very thin w/ almost nonexistent boobs and short hair so from far i actually do look like a guy.That's why i like feminine clothing.
But i do change style from time to time.I'm into goth/dark styles also.

petitpapillon, oh sis is somehow a goth, i hate that on her she looks scary especially when she puts that dark circle around her eyes, she calls is make up! but i dont.!!

i am curvy so i have no problem to switch into a boyish look, actually it looks good sometimes. ppl sometime make fun of me when i wear jeanz and trainers for work...they want me to wear a long skirt and high heels..!! just like an ideal Emirati woman..!! this could be so tiring at work..

I'm not as goth as ur sis seems to be!It just depends on my mood.I just like to wear black clothes sometimes,things like long black skirts and tops with flowing semi-transparent sleeves.My mom doesn't like it says i look like a witch lol!
Wow u're from the emirates!Isn't Dubai like a huge shopping mall?My dad went there once and that's the impression he got.And of course being a guy he didn't appreciate it.My mom & i are dying to go to Dubai.

well Yah Dubai is the BEST place for shopping, they just got everything you dream of from way expensive to way cheap, i love to go there, what i hate about it is that the city is TOOOOOOO crowded, oh my god its like hell, millions of ppl are there but we have alot of fun, its not about shopping only, but other stuff too, they got alot of really nice outdoor stuff..
I dont remember any single year without them building at least 2-3 new malls, its amazing..!! i might go to Dubai with my friend at the end of the month for heavy shopping..you have to go there, its really amazing, but try to come in Jan or Feb, dont ever think of coing in July or August cuz the heat is unbearable, only if you stayed indoors..

Nelly made a drink too, it is called Pimp Juice, tastes pretty decent. I have seen the Von Dutch drink, but haven't tired it.

It WAS cool.
but now the only people who seem to wear anything von dutch are bogans and trashy tarts. So don't stock it up if you're in australia, i don't know it might be different overseas. I had 3 hats of theirs when it was cool but now they're just gathering dust. lol

vogue_doll, i think its would be too much if you are wearing a whole outift of von dutch it would look rediculous, but one shirt, or a hat is more than enough..sometimes they got too many graphic that it looks like it only costs $3 ..

i, too, cannot jump onto the von dutch bandwagon or wear their trucker hats. TRUCKER HATS. on runways? i know they're relatively old now, but really (and in my own opinion), they were never meant to be big. or taken seriously.

I'm sick of Von Dutch. I don't know if it's like this where all of you are from, but here in Australia you can go to any mall or market and there will be sooo many fake Von Dutch caps. So everyone has them! Where I'm from, the people that wear them are trashy, trying to look cool and make people think that they are real. So I steer clear of Von Dutch now because of that.
