Forums' design

Dear admin,

If you dont mind i wanna work on a design for the banner to be used in the forum..please i wanna know the size that you want for it..
if you need any help in designing for other stuff please ask me, but i wanna let you know that i dont know how to create and draw things, i will just use photos, brushes and stuff like this..

If you wanna evaluate my work those are some sample designs for avatars i made for myself in the last couple of year plus you can judge on my website, i did it myself..

Hello kytheria, yes you can design a banner, maybe something about 420 width by 100 height. If it had a black ground it could slot into the left hand side of above but if it doesn't i might just remove all of the above and just have the logo.

i dont prefer a black backgroun, i wanna do it like a white background just like the forums and i will add some photos/graphics and the forums-fashion.com do you wanna use the logo? i can change its color of you want..

You can do what you like as long as you have fashion-forums.com in it. I've been told to just have "fashion forums" but im not sure. :)

ok i will do couple of designs and choose what you like from them..i'll try my best to include everything..

ok so this is something quick i've done today, what i have in my mind is that there will be slight change in the forums color.. i added turqoise to the pink in the design so any link in the forum will be in turqoise,,please dont make the link underlined!! it doesnt look good..and on the right side i've done the bg as white with turqoise dots pattern, i donno how big is the other's screen so the length of the image is 1200 so just cut the image as you want so it will fit the screen..as for the hight i increased it to 200, 100 is not enough, wont show anything..

so tell me what do you think admin?

I like it, what do others think? I am willing to change the look and colors of the forum depending on this banner? Underlines Removed.

I do find it a bit feminine though, trying to be more unisex as we seam to be attracting a lot of females, maybe its the pink lol?

ok on the same design i will make it suitable for both sexes..give me time..dont you like the pink? what colors do you prefer? i always like pink and turqoise..

ok i did a whole new design with male and female pics..alot of bright colors, might be strong a bit, i concentrated on 2 colors which are the pink, orange with a line of turqoise..

what do you think?

sister2paris, yah i love bright colors :D this is my style, i know that its too much for the eye but i like it this way.. thnx and glad you liked it..

administrator, glad you loved it, are you gonna use it? i'm still stressing on the turqoise links lool,,well the general layout should be in pink and orange with a slight of turqoise, see how you can manage it..tell me if you need any further help..

admin, you really need to change to links colors, everything is too pink in the forum and we cannot deistinguish the link from the text..as i suggested before, used the second banner with a turqoise link..i noticed that the current banner is slightly changed..didnt you like the designs i proposed?

plus i like to write my posts in pink and they got the same link color :s

- another suggestion..can you take out those ads posts? like google and the one in the bottom about forums.com?its making the place too crowded..

Hiya, Ive removed the site search at the bottom of the forum. When the board gets busier i will one of the ads posts but just now its covering hosting/bandwidth and domain costs. As for forum design im going to be paying a pro to come in and really make the place look cool. Thanks
