I'd like to be a fashion designer too but i got no talent for it.I do make nice pieces iof embroidery tho.I'd like to be in the fashion world just bcoz of the glitz&celebs and make loadz of money.
So sdotmoss u r good at designing clothes?If u love it then u should pursue ur passion and maybe one day u'll be dressing some big stars.

I am going to be a fashion designer because...... when someone first looks at you no matter what, they are trained to judge. By being a designer you have influence/control over how people percieve you and themselves. That is until you open your mouth and speak. To sum it all up I think that fashion is more than just measurements of fabric sewn together. It is how we tell the world who we are. I LOVE IT !

petitpapillon u never know u could devlope the talent as your grow thats wat happend to me when i started i sucked!!! i dont know what i was thinking even drawing those hideous dresses but i got better along the way!! and maybe if u try to sketch more as i did youll get better!!! since u say your good at embroidery i think youll devolpe the talent if u just believe! i know it sounds cheesy. thanks LOTS for wat u said it will stay with me forever!!

i want to be a fashion designer for so long but my dream had stopped ever since i had a baby girl!!

the thing is i use to be so confident about the whole idea of being that great designer, cause i love the taste of competition... but now its different and everything changes, i dont know if i would have the same strve that i use too...

i want to be a designer because i've been drawing models for as long as i can remember, and its pretty much the only thing i can do. i suck at school, but i love clothing i get really excited when i see a piece i love and i have to have it or draw something like it

Well... I don't think I will be a designer even though I would love to! I'm actually doing other studies right now...
However what I try to do is to sell some of the designs I draw in order to make some extra money for myself. Sometimes it helps me finance my engineering school (that has nothing to do with design lol) :?

I thought I wanted to be a designer until I took a class while studing abroad. I realized I like to design clothes for me - my size, fit my figure and my personality, BUT I don't want to design for the masses b/c my cuts wouldn't look good on someone w/ a diff figure than me.

I would love to be a designer, until reecently it was supposed to be a profession I was suppose to study but my family intervened and told me that it wasn't a great idea so I changes directions and now I'm going to business school. However, my dreams of becoming a designer are still to come true...I might go into fashion design once I finished business school... Depends...if i still have the creativity there

I wanna be a fashion designer because i think i would be very good at it. I love mixing things together, and creating my own look. I live to stand out from the crowd, and make a statement. I wanna own a magazine as well, and be a model someday. Fashion has endless possibilites, and that is why i love it. So much you can do with it. Fashion is life to me lol. I wouldnt be who i am today, without fashion.
My goal is to help others find what works with them, and have them feeling beautiful afterwards. and.. I will not stop until i fufill my dream of becoming a big designer.

I want to become a fashion designer because i'm passionate and emotional when it comes to art, design, words and textiles. I enjoy combining clothes together into a brand new piece. Whenever I watch runway shows, I wished that I will be one of the designers there upstage. Standing strong, walking tall. Eligible and original. Not for fame, it's for telling others what style suits them so that they would not end up published on the worst dressed column. I LOVE IT SO MUCH eventhough I'm still young. I'm 15 now. My friends like what I designed. But modern eras are so competitive, especially when it comes to art. It has been the centre of attention in this big crowd. :)

when i was a kid i used to sketch gowns from my paper doll.. my parents saw my talent in sketching and i do it until i was in high school.. i didn't think that i can be a designer, well i love to sketch but i'm not good in making clothes.. i get interested in designing after i finished college.

being a fashion designer requires a lot more skill than you'd imagine.
you don't have to be good at drawing, but you have to really, truly understand fabric, stitches, cuts, shapes and styles. i don't find that daunting at all which probably shows how much i want to work in this industry.

i'd love to design for a british high street store. i've grown up surrounded by clothes: my mother is a seamstress and owns an alteration place, and my father owns a dry cleaners. there's really nothing else i'm interested in except fashion design/journalism.

I am on my way to becoming a designer. I designed at a work placement last year, which were manufactured and put in the shops and some becoming best sellers, this reputable company has also offered me a job.. but I'm currently on a work placement, so waiting to complete it first. I honestly can't see myself doing anything else.. I'd be SO bored if I wasn't designing. .. on another note.. if I wasn't designing, I think i'd be doing psychology.
