Use this site as a guide. According to it you should wear US 6, US Small (named sizes) UK 8, France 36, Germany 34, Italy 40, Australia 10, Japan 9....Hope that helps!!

but i donno which country size the website is using..as it seems its not a US size..what do you think it is? From the Contact Us link its written that the headquater is in Southern California..
I was doing searching through http://www.neimanmarcus.com to know their sizes, and i saw that the in the size chart they used the sizes from 24- 32 for the waiste. i guess its the one..! if the hip is 36 then the waiste is 24..! but when i see the bust size which mine us 34 the waiste is 26..! :s ok i'm confused now..

In the US, we have many different ways of sizing.
First you have the Small, Medium, Large....These are usually for jogging suits, shirts, sweaters, etc.
Then we have regular pants sizes 2, 4, 6, 8, etc. These sizes can differ slightly depending on the designer of the clothing and are usually for pants or dress shirts.
Then we have waist sizes 24, 25, 26, 27, etc. and these are for pants. You need to measure around your waist with a tailors ribbon to find your waist size since it differs depending on body structure.

Make sure that you can send it back. I did look at the jeans on the site and they are all waist measurement sizes. Try this sizing chart from Victoria's Secret. If you go down to the STANDARD SIZE EQUIVALENTS (INCHES) it says that a size 6, which is the US converstion of your size is about 26.5 inches in the waist, so I would probably buy a pair of 27 jeans because they don't run in half sizes and 26 will be tight. This is if the size UK 8/Euro 36 fits nicely and is not too big or too small.
