Christian Dior Haute Couture

Just watched the Autumn/Winter 06-06 Haute Couture by John Galliano for Christian Dior and can I say that I was amazed? I mean, the Spring Summer one was fabulous and couldn't say for sure that Galliano would make a back to back success but... he did!!

that's a lovely show. the spacesuit idea is really amazing. I guess he is trying to show how ahead of his time (ancient looks vs. space travel) he is.

I love Galliano with all my heart but this years S/S couture collection for 2008 was going off the deep end. It made my fashion gag reflex unhappy and normally that man can do NO wrong in my eyes....sigh

More of an art piece than fashion. An interesting juxtaposition of elements nonetheless.
