Balenciaga .. friend or foe?

New Website, exhibition at Musee de la Mode, Nicole Kidman's wedding dress, 8 page coverage in 'Liberation', the list goes on...

However, can all of this exposure harm their understated brand image and most important of all the Balenciaga Brand Equity?

no i dont ithink so. it wil make the clothes sell more cause nichole kidman wore it celebs can give more hype to the label and get the clothes to sell

yea i don't think so either. first of all, most people cannot afford balenciaga so that's no dilemma. also it was a wedding dress which really isn't like an oscar dress. people will love it, admire it, and remember it but i don't think they'll be rushing out to buy it.

If anything I love Balenciaga even more now! At first all I loved about it were the Motorcycle bags that the celebs had. Now I love the whole collection!
