None VS Designers

Ok i noticed that myself and everyone around me, have you noticed that some of the new products or designers are pricing their products like double the other high designers? for example i always purchase from POUT and BENEFIT but have you noticed their prices?!! The POUT lip plupmer costs around $30..and Lancome lip plumper costs $20..see the difference, but who's better and well known? of course Lancome..ok its not only about the make up but even shoes and clothes..sometimes i pass by a shop and when i ask about a price they give me unreasonable prices for one piece which i can find exactly the same price or maybe less at Dior boutique..!! and their name is never heard of before..

i think a lot of place do that sometimes is because they are really worth the price or that they just want to look better and get some quick cash off who ever's willing to pay that price i guess. I mean there are a lot of girls out there who think that the higher the price the better the item is i guess

I do see it. Like here there's this swedish makeup brand called FACE and MAKEUP STORE and I think they're a little bit more pricey than other really famous brands. I mean the price difference isn't thaaat much but still. I still buy it because I like their makeup.
My friend works at their flagship store and she explained that its a bit more pricey because the makeup is produced in a small amount in Sweden and the price is relative for the production cost.
I mean if you think about it, Lancome is considered to be a "luxury" makeup brand but they still mass-produce their products and its sold in millions. So, my guess is that these lesser known brands are more expansive because they don't produce the same amount.

ok i can understand if its not that well known or only sold in one place but i really get pissed off whenever isee this PIXI make up shop, i didnt like any of their products but their prices is sooo high even Dior dont price this much, and as i heard PIXI is like all around the world and can be found almost anywhere, so they dont have this problem..
