I don'd wear jewelry very often; in fact I don't even have my ears pierced! I'm planning on getting them pierced soon, and I wanted to know if anyone thinks earrings really do boost a person's look.

Should I get into the habit of wearing jewelry even though I prefer a minimalist look?

I like this style of jewelry but I am not sure whether it will be a fashion don't in times to come:

If it is generally acceptable I might end up making that type of jewelry my "signature style".

Very bohemian styling, charm style necklaces like those go well with dressy and casual outfits, I wear a lot of similar style pieces myself, usually with peasant/gypsy/mandarin collar type natural material shirts, belted at the waist, with jeans and some nice boots, but you'd be surprised how many of those necklaces look just as hot with a little black dress.

I sell & have sold tons of similar kinds of pieces, both fashion jewellery and more expensive genuine gemstone versions in my store in the last 12 months, and there's been no sign of it dying off.

If you want to make it your signature style long term though you might want to consider what piece to invest in, do you want to have an assortment of cheaper costume pieces, which will look great, but eventually will tarnish or not look as good over time - especially if you wear perfume a great deal as most jewellery materials don't react well to perfume chemicals.

If you want something longer lasting then consider a more investment piece and look for silver and gemstones (or gold), they look fantastic and if looked afer will last year after year and become heirloom pieces.
